Whether they'd be at small dive bars, coffee shops, huge venues, and festivals, Sharon Prudencio enjoys meeting other female musicians and making a mark as a female guitarist in the progressive rock scene in southern California. “It’s always a great opportunity to play in any show because you’ll never know who you will meet—such as other great like-minded female musicians. It’s also very encouraging to have the audience come up to me and say my band kicked ass after our set. After all, this is what keeps us going with our passion. Making new fans out of performing or having our music heard is the icing on the hard work we put into our music.”
Sharon, known for her unconventional melodic guitar riffs, is the co-founder of progressive rock band Evertheory. Since the band’s inception in 2008, they have played at reputable Los Angeles county venues such as The House of Blues, The Fox Theater, and Viper Room and festivals such as The Queen Mary Festival in Long Beach and The Sand & Sport Super Show in Orange County.
