Mia Borders: Dirty Diana - great vocals - very impressive!!

This is quite possibly my favorite Michael Jackson song. It's a pretty tight race, though, between this and all of his other songs. As a kid, he was a god to me. As a musician, he was a freak of nature. What he could do with a vocal line went above and beyond anything anyone would ever dream of doing. Singing one of his songs is a very tall order, but I couldn't resist the request. I chose this song because from the first time I heard it, I was drawn to it. It's not just a song; it's a story. There are characters, movements, imagery; there's a climax. It's fantastic. It reminds of what Michael Jackson was. He was a storyteller with a phenomenal musical mind that will not soon be replaced.
