Thank you so much to everyone who has bought my new EP Desert Wax so far. I hope it is an enjoyable palette cleanser before the album, and I am so grateful for all of your kind words and being so open with such a different kind of release for me.
Holly Henderson is a 21 year old songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Kent, England.
A session musician and prolific songwriter from an early age, and an experienced touring musician/songwriter with the likes of the collaborative group Delayed Experience, all female Punk sensation The Sex Pissed Dolls, Space's Tommy Scott, Soul singer Pamela Evonne Cole, acclaimed flock-rock band The Featherz, and guitarist in transatlantic hard rock collective DORJA, plus many more.
Holly now composes original music commercially, and assists artists with their songwriting and often contributes as a session musician.
She predominantly concentrates on her solo work and compositions, the most notable thing on her solo journey thus far: Holly has also just completed recording her debut solo album in LA with Pete Thorn (Chris Cornell, Courtney Love, Melissa Etheridge), Blair Sinta (Alanis Morissette, Annie Lennox, Stevie Nicks) and Jon Button (The Who, The Corrs, Sheryl Crow). Which is due to be released late 2017/early 2018.
Desert Wax, her second EP is a 6 track conceptual expedition, the soundtrack of the journey of a small broken off group of society that feel disillusioned and bitter due to their lack of influence when they are watching civilisation and the environment fall apart. They decide to search the untainted and dangerous parts of the earth for a new haven, in an attempt to start again.
