Hands Off Gretel mix heavy garage rock, grunge and pop rock, creating an instantly identifiably sound. This features grungy insolent instruments and gritty vocals interlaced with howls and screams. Formed in 2014 by songwriter and front woman Lauren Tate who also designs the band’s merchandise and artwork, Hands Off Gretel are already making waves on the heavy music scene. Comprised of Lauren, Becky Baldwin (Bass guitar, backing vocals), Sean Bon (lead guitar) and Sam Hobbins (Drums), they’ve been forming a huge online fan base and a solid live repertoire of over 100 shows since their conception. These include major festivals such as Download and Rebellion and two European tours which featured sold-out shows in Germany. They’ve gained media support from the likes of Alternative Press who premiered their 2015 single ‘My Size’ in the U.S. and Louder Than War who awarded them a top 50 albums of 2016 spot.
