The Epiphone SG Standard ’61 is inspired by the original Gibson model introduced that year. The Mahogany neck and body in classic Vintage Cherry finish sports the period-correct smaller pickgaurd and new Kalamazoo headstock. Two Probucker pickups deliver the powerful, resonant tones that the SG is known for.

We invited guitarist Arianna Powell to check out the new Epiphone SG and compare the feel and features to the the one she takes with her on the road.
