Thanks for watching our violin and electric guitar medley "Punk Canon in D", that includes themes from Pachelbel's Canon (rock violin version), The Verve and finally we end up with our Green Day - Basket Case violin cover.

"Punk Canon in D" is our original crossover song inspired by the dual nature of the Golden Salt duo, that combines the violin and the electric guitar. It mixes themes taken from classical music, as Canon (rock version) in D by Pachelbel, with punk rock themes as Bitter Sweet Symphony by The Verve, and Basket Case by Green Day, covered by the raw soud of our rock duet: violin and electric guitar.
THE STORY:
Filming this video was so so funny! The story is ironic and paradoxical: people expect a classical music concert to begin: they expect to hear Pachelbel - Canon in D, played by violin and cello... But the waitress transforms themselves in two punk girls! The girls kidnap the classical musicians, reolacing them. A punk violin girl and a punk guitar girl breake on stage, playing their Canon Rock, which then turns into a Basket Case violin cover (Green Day).
