Command-K is a new project of Kalina Solarek, in which she combines electronic experimental music with electric guitar. The debut EP “DAS” consists of 6 tracks and 18 minutes of electronic/industrial/noise music. The album was released on 01.09.2024 by a German record label Attenuation Circuit and is available on Bandcamp as a digital download and a limited edition, factory produced CDr (100 copies).
BIO:
Command-K is Kalina Solarek.
Kalina Solarek was born in 1996 in Lodz, Poland. She studied jazz electric guitar at the Frederic Chopin State Music School in Warsaw, where she also improved her piano skills. With three other female musicians she formed an alternative rock band Mięta. In 2019 Kalina Solarek joined a symphonic project of Doda and Wojciech Zieliński, and performed in Polish arenas and concert halls. After moving to Switzerland, where she works as an architect, Kalina started her solo project, in which she combines electronic experimental music with electric guitar. In September 2024 she released her debut solo EP.
