Rob Galley - Is someone using AI to steal other people's guitar covers and content? I recently came across a video of a guitar cover that at first glance seemed normal - But then I realised it was actually Ai. It was pretty impressive with the correct hand movements on the guitar etc. but I thought I'd check out some more of them - what I found shocked me. It appears that someone is potentially taking people's guitar covers and adding an AI filter to then reupload them to YouTube as their own content.

As a guitar player who makes covers content of my own this is pretty concerning. What's not to say that someone won't do this to any of my content in future? potentially use my content to get subscribers/views and even money?

We're in 2024 - AI is still in it's early stages and luckily most people can spot an AI video. It's difficult for AI to fully create convincing guitar covers with all the correct hand movements being perfect but, surely in the next few years it's only going to get better.

So this video is me taking a look at some of these covers that have potentially been stolen - I don't know for a fact that the original content creators weren't asked their permission but being honest, I can't imagine they'd be happy about it.
