WHIZZ, a four-member Hong Kong female independent band, was formed at the end of March 2019 by vocalist Wang Yushan, guitarist Moo, bass guitarist Bowie and drummer Jess. WHIZZ was officially established on March 24, 2019. In the same month, it performed for the first time in the "China, Hong Kong and Macao Youth Band Competition 2019" and won the championship.

In May 2020, the band released the song "Summer Sea" with a music video for the first time. In 2020, the band announced its participation in the "Ear-Ear Music Label Project". In addition to being guided by mentor Zhou Boxian, it also performed at the "Ear-Ear Music Festival 2021" and won the "Ear-Ear Performance Award".

An official Telegram group was established on March 2, 2021, later named "ZZIHW Jiaowu Team", which is a self-created word for "WHIZZ" written backwards, and "ZZIHW" also became the name of fans; on July 11 of the same year He made his debut on the ViuTV music program "Chill Club", singing "Stinky Man" and "Plastic Love" with Angela Tse, and performed the original music piece "Sorrowful" on the program.

In mid-July 2021, it was announced that the first album "The Reason We Are All Hysterical Underwater" will be released, and a CD release party of the same name will be held at The Pulse in Repulse Bay on August 14-15 of the same year, which will be the band's first physical performance . All tickets sold out within one hour on the day of general sale.
