Bad Horsie is probably one of #stevevai's more famous songs, but even though I love this song, it took me a while to decide to learn it as I didn’t want to put my guitar into Drop C, but now I have permanently put my #ibanez RGT1220PB into Drop C. This has opened up another creative window for me as it sounds much fatter even than Drop D. The RG has acclimatised really well to Drop C; I just had to tune it down and adjust string tension and intonation, and it’s now holding its tune really well. Love the RG for Vai-style songs because the neck-through lets me access the upper frets easily. Also, love using the auto-wah on the #bossgt1000 in this song. Don't ever use the wah pedal now; totally converted to the auto-wah.
