The Qi Etherealizer is the result of a collaboration between Walrus Audio and Covet guitarist Yvette Young—who is a beautifully idiosyncratic architect of eccentric riffs and expansive atmospheres. While based on chorus, delay, reverb and granular effects, the Qi Etherealizer is more a conjurer’s assistant of dreams than a multi-effects pedal. Encouraging various levels of experimentation, inspiration, mayhem and magnificence, you can run the effects in series or parallel, randomly trigger tiny samples (or “grains”) as you play, and save your creations in three preset slots.
